"Coupon Queen" makes its debut in Yuma Sun

Coupon clippers in Yuma County are about to be treated to a resource almost as handy as a sharp pair of scissors.
A new column written by Jill Cataldo, known around the country as the "Coupon Queen," makes its debut in the Yuma Sun on Monday, June 29.
"Coupon Queen" will now appear in each Monday edition of the newspaper, running in the Desert Life section.
Thanks to her crafty clipping Cataldo saves $40 to $60 per week on groceries. Through her column the mother of three teaches readers clear, step-by-step couponing strategies and explains techniques such as stacking coupons, how to take advantage of the 12-week cycle in grocery stores and stockpiling techniques that can help can help control household expenses.
Cataldo explains that Americans are truly rediscovering coupon clipping, a trend that her statistics show has more than tripled since 2005.
"It’s a fact of life: Coupon usage increases in uncertain economic times," Cataldo writes. "Now more than ever, shoppers of all ages and income levels
are looking for ways to save on their weekly grocery bills. The 'Coupon Queen' is here to help."
"Coupon Queen" currently appears in 100 newspapers coast to coast. Cataldo's work as a coupon-workshop instructor and writer has been featured by such major media outlets as the Chicago Sun-Times, WGN Superstation and ABC Morning News.
