A power outage left 459 Arizona Public Service customers in the dark for about three hours on Thursday evening.
According to APS spokesman Dan Wool, a semi-truck hit a transformer on the east end of the city at approximately 5:43 p.m., but he did not have the specific location.
Wool said power was restored to all customers by 8:38 p.m. and that the area affected was between County 11th to County 11-1/2 to Avenue 3E to Avenue 5E.
Yuma police reported that the outage also caused the loss of traffic signals and officers were dispatched to direct traffic.
