Please describe your platform:

Protect the consumer through comprehensive oversight of utilities; provide insight to encourage research, development and implementation of clean energy standards and make Arizona the number one producer of solar products in the world; provide foresight to plan for Arizona's future in regard to sustainable clean and renewable energy

If elected, what is your first priority?

Jobs; working on any immediate action the commission can take to grow renewable energy resources in Arizona.

Who do you think is your biggest challenger and why? 

Gary Pierce.  He is the incumbent Commissioner and has the most experience of all the current candidates

What do you think sets you apart from your opponent(s)?

 My commitment to a clean renewable energy portfolio being developed and implemented as quickly as possible.

What would you do to achieve more transparency in government, and should government officials be in charge of managing those efforts?

Invite media and general public to participate in meetings beyond the public meetings which occur every day at the Commission.

Public notices are regarded as one important way for the public to find out what is really happening in government. Newspapers currently not only print public notices but also operate a free, consolidated, online, searchable database. Some people advocate that public notices should be available only on government websites. Do you agree that the Legislature should change the current law to mandate that public notices be available only on government websites?

No. Public notices must be as readily available as possible.

What do you think is the biggest challenge right now facing Yumans, and Arizonans?

Paying for the infrastructure needs of the state which by some estimates exceeds over $500 billion in the next 25 years.

What would you do, if elected, to help change that?

Begin implementation of comprehensive plans with stakeholders to begin to identify the highest needs and the funding to meet those needs.

What is one of your strength? Weaknesses (something you’d like to improve upon)?

Strength: great listener who can touch both extremes and bridge the differences.

Weakness: sometimes wait too long for people to figure out what they need to do to action.

What is one thing that you want voters to know?

I am committed to working with anyone who honestly wants to improve the future of  Arizona through hard work and perserverance.
