Project Drive Safe on 1st Ave.

Starting Monday, officers with the Yuma Police Department will be focusing on 1st Avenue, as well as the 16th Street construction corridor, as part of their ongoing Project Drive Safe.
Officers will be watching for speeders, as well as turning and seat belt violations.
As of Nov. 16, Project Drive Safe has resulted in 2,667 citations.
