Mother, son arrested on drug charges
A mother and son were arrested Saturday on various drug-related charges after Yuma deputies served a search warrant at their residence.
According to Capt. Eben Bratcher of the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, at about 5:45 p.m. officers of the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 2005 S. 9th Ave.
Arrested were Colton Komora, 22, and Darlene Komora, 59.
Bratcher said the narcotics-based search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into suspicious activity reported at the residence that was consistent with the sale of drugs.
“We had numerous tips from concerned citizens about that location. This is where our task force is headed. Neighborhood drug dealers are our primary focus.”
Both occupants of the home were detained while the warrant was served. A search reportedly resulted in the seizure of small quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Colton Komora was booked for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Darlene Komora was booked for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
