Man arrested on drug charges after search warrant served
A Yuma man was arrested Friday on various drug-related charges after agents of the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at his residence.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, the task force was alerted to the residence by an anonymous tip and the warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into suspicious activity reported at the residence that was consistent with the sale of drugs.

A search of the residence reportedly resulted in the seizure of approximately a quarter-ounce of methamphetamines, a usable amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia that included three sets of scales.
As a result Jaime D. Griffitts, 32, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on charges of possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession of a dangerous drug possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The estimated street value of the methamphetamines is $700.
