Travel-trailer overturns on Interstate 8

An overturned travel trailer hauling a load of recyclables blocks both east bound lanes of travel on Interstate 8 near mile marker three Tuesday morning. Traffic would be diverted around the accident in the emergency lane until the trailer could be pushed off the side of the road a short time later. No injuries were reported.

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 8 between the 16th Street and Avenue 3E exits were blocked Tuesday morning due to an overturned travel-trailer.
Traffic is now flowing freely on eastbound I-8 just east of 16th Street. All lanes were reopened by 11 am.
