Yuma Regional Medical Center and Bridget's Gift are treating women to “Mammos and ManiCURES,” a special event Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Yuma Regional Medical Plaza, 1501 W. 24th St.

The focus will be on preventing breast cancer through screening mammograms and awareness.

Guests will enjoy free manicures, massages, a pink candy bar and bone density and blood pressure health screenings.

The event will include a cooking demo with Executive Chef Alex Trujillo, Bridget's Gift photo booth and an “Ask the Expert” segment with physicians.

Women over 40 are encouraged to get an annual mammogram. To schedule a mammogram during this event, call 336-6266. However, guests do not have to receive a mammogram to attend the event.
