City council candidate forum Thursday
Event is free to the public
Eight candidates vying for three open seats on the Yuma City Council will speak their minds at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Historic Yuma Theatre.
Planning to attend are Jerry Stuart, Edward Thomas, Emma Torres, Brian Stephens, Clinton Underhill, Bobbi Brooks-Gurrola and current council members Paul Johnson and Ema Lea Shoop.
Panelists will include Kim Johnson from KAWC, Michelle Velez from KYMA-TV and James Gilbert from the Yuma Sun.
Questions will be gathered from the audience during the panelists' portion of the program, and will be used during the second half of the forum.
The event is free and open to the public.
