Marci Rios (first photo, clockwise from front) slices ham while Anna Marine Mee, Helen Irvine and Jose Sandoval prep the hams at The Salvation Army Wednesday afternoon for the organization's annual Thanksgiving Eve meal. The Salvation Army prepared 50 hams, 30 turkeys and plenty of stuffing and mashed potatoes to feed an expected crowd of more than 1,000 between Yuma and Somerton. At right, Rose Matier (second photo, front) and Pat Ribble plow through a tray of mashed potatoes, making sure there's no clumps before Wednesday's dinner.
