4 from Switzerland injured on Highway 95
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Four members of a family from Switzerland were treated and released from Yuma Regional Medical Center after being injured Wednesday morning when the rented recreational vehicle they were driving collided with a dump truck on Highway 95 at Blaisdell, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The RV, traveling north on Highway 95, struck the left rear area of the truck after the truck pulled out onto the highway about 10 a.m., the DPS said.
A Rural/Metro ambulance took all four members of the family to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the dump truck was cited for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign, the DPS said.
Names of those involved in the accident were not immediately released by the DPS.
