Hit-and-run suspect arrested

A Yuma County sheriff's deputy takes custody of an unnamed hit-and-run suspect Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 8 west near the Giss Parkway exit after officers from the Department of Public Safety conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle. The suspect was wanted by law enforcement for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run accident a week ago in the Foothills and was stopped by DPS officers when his vehicle was seen in the area by another law enforcement agency.
