Tony Gianopoulos (left) watches as a front-end loader from the Yuma County Water Users Association loads piles of what was once his home into donated dumpsters Tuesday morning at 1055 La Casita Drive. Gianopoulos' home, which he said he lived in for approximately 42 years, was destroyed in a fire on Dec. 9. Since then donations from the coummunity have been pouring in. A new home will be built on the site with construction, donated by a local contractor, set to begin in about four weeks. A Wells Fargo account has been open in Gianopoulos' name for anyone wishing to help further with the project.
