Yuma Police Department officers found a man deceased Friday night in his home at 4596 La Quinta Loop and are investigating the death as a possible homicide, according to a news release from YPD.

Officers were dispatched to the home at 5:40 p.m., according to the release. Upon arrival they discovered the body. The YPD investigations bureau responded and a preliminary investigation concluded that homicide was probable.

Details on the man's identity and the cause of his death were not immediately available.

Police encourage anyone with information to call 373-4678 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
