Approximately 100 people took part in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. march sponsored by the Yuma Branch NAACP 1016. The march began at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 360 S. 8th Avenue, and continued through the Carver Neighborhood to the Dr. King Neighborhood Center, 300 S. 3rd St, where more people gathered for a combative service with guest speakers discussing King's vision and philosophy.
