San Luis police ask for help to find missing man

The San Luis Police Department is asking for the public's help to find an elderly man who was reported missing over the weekend.

Elpidio Castro Rodriguez, 71, was seen on Saturday, at about 5:30 p.m. when he walked away from his residence along the 900 block of Hidalgo Street in San Luis, AZ. He told a neighbor that he was on his way to Mexico.

Rodriguez was last seen wearing a black cowboy hat, a black leather jacket and blue jeans. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 220 lbs. His family says he takes daily medication for memory loss, as well as for high blood pressure.

People who have seen Rodriguez or know of his whereabouts are asked to contact the San Luis Police Department at (928) 627-8881.
