Firefighters from area departments camped out on a giant billboard sign on 16th Street for a day along with television weatherman Brad Wills to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Del Outdoor Advertising Co. loaned the billboard and support crews to the effort to "Fill the Boot" with money for MDA. Yuma Fire Department engineer Bill Kerelukn (left, second photo) and firefighter Jordan Bowers hold out the boots to encourage passers-by to stop and donate to the MDA.
