Corrections: Violence hits Juarez-El Paso area

A story headlined “Filmmaker Charlie Minn to discuss Juarez drug war documentary at AWC,” published in the Jan. 23 edition of the Yuma Sun, should have said that drug violence hit the Juarez-El Paso area. El Paso, Texas, is actually one of the safest cities in the U.S., Minn said.

A business story appearing on page B1 of the Jan. 20 edition incorrectly listed the email address for Toggenburg Goats of Arizona. The actual email address is bob2582susie@yahoo.com.

An article in Wednesday’s Yuma Sun on page A6 titled "Foothills man still missing after nearly a week" gave the incorrect hometown of Laurence "Jack" Doering. He is a native of Spokane, Wash. Also, information was intially provided that he left his wife behind at the Foothills Plaza shopping center, located at 11256 S. Foothills Blvd., where they had gone to get haircuts. She was not with him.

The Yuma Sun regrets the errors.
