Huitt-Zollars Inc., which is currently designing the sanitary sewer system for northwest Yuma residents, will present the Design Concept Report to the Yuma County Board of Supervisors and area property owners Monday.
The area known as the Avenue B and C Colonia is bounded by 1st and 8th streets and Avenues B and C. Currently, all 770 parcels are served by septic tanks.
After discussion of the Design Concept Report, the board is expected to set the date of a public hearing for the district to proceed to the proposed sanitary sewer improvement project's final design.
The board will then need to let Huitt-Zollars Inc. know whether or not to proceed with the project's final design.
The board's regular meeting will take place at the Board of Supervisors Auditorium, 198 S. Main St., at 9 a.m.
Also on Monday's agenda, the board is being asked to approve a beer and wine liquor license application for Gonzo's Tacna Market at Highway 80 and 2nd Street.
