Highway 95 rollover injures 3

Two people were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center via ambulance and one to an unspecified hospital by helicopter after a single-vehicle rollover Friday afternoon.

The extent of the injuries sustained by the three were believed to be non-life-threatening.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at about 2:20 p.m. at milepost 64 on Highway 95. The unspecified vehicle had been traveling northbound before it rolled and came to a rest on its side.

There were two adults and one child in the car, Rural/Metro reported. One adult and one child were able to exit the vehicle. The remaining adult had to be removed by emergency personnel.

The identity of the person transported via helicopter was unavailable as of press time Friday. The cause of the incident is under investigation by DPS.
