Silver Spur Parade entry deadline is Friday

Friday is the last day to turn in applications to participate as entries in the Yuma Jaycees Silver Spur Rodeo Parade.

Applications are to be in to the Jaycees at their clubhouse, 13640 S. Avenue 4E, no later than 5 p.m. Contact the office at 344-5451 for details.

Theme for the 63rd annual parade is "Lasso the Old West."

The parade will line up 6 to 8 a.m. Feb. 9 at 4th Avenue and 15th Street. Parade route is from there to Orange Avenue, ending at Madison Avenue and Giss Parkway.
