Woman sought in connection with drive-by shooting
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Yuma police are seeking the public's help locating a woman who may have information about a drive-by shooting in Yuma in October.
The woman is Melinda Marquez, 26, who is believed to have been present at the time of the drive-by shooting at 9 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 2000 block of West 8th Street.
She is being sought for questioning in the incident, which is being considered by police as an attempted murder. Police also are seeking a small single-cab truck she was believed to be riding in on the night of the shooting.
No other details about Marquez were available from police.
Anyone with information about Marquez is asked to call Police Detective Rosas at 783-4421. Callers may remain anonymous by calling 78-crime at 782-7463.
