Precious Treasures has alternate number

Precious Treasures of Somerton has an alternate number to take calls from people wanting to make donations to the social service agency for distribution to the area's needy.

Precious Treasures has been without phone service since Wednesday, and is asking the public to call 627-9104 until service is restored, said Debbie Ward, the agency's director.

Precious Treasures is seeking winter clothing, toys and other items from the public for distribution to the less fortunate over the holidays, she said.

It gets most of its donations through phone calls, Ward said.

She said she did not know how long it will take to restore phone service.
