Monday is voter registration deadline
Arizona residents who want to vote in the state's Aug. 24 primary election have until midnight Monday to register or update their registration information.
Residents can register to vote in person at the Yuma County Recorder's Office, 410 S. Maiden Lane., or online at www.servicearizona.com.
Voters will be choosing candidates in a variety of races, including, at the county level, justice of the peace, constables, judge of Superior Court divisions 2, 3, and 5, and clerk of Superior Court.
Other races Yumans can vote on are governor, U.S. senator, the District 7 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, and state Senate and House of Representative in District 24 races, among others.
