Bomb threat false alarm in San Luis

A bomb threat turned up no hazard at Advanced Call Center Technologies in San Luis, Ariz. Monday.
According to the San Luis Police Department, an ACT employee got a call from an unidentified person at about 1:30 Monday afternoon saying there was a bomb in one of the computers inside the building, 580
N. San Luis Plaza Drive. San Luis officers evacuated employees and nearby businesses. After a search of the interior and vehicles by Marine Corps Air Station Yuma military police and Cocopah Tribal Police bomb detection dogs, no explosive device was found. There were no injuries.
The origin of the phone call is currently being investigated by SLPD and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Anybody with information can contact Detective Prieto at 341-2420.
