Coffee with councilman set for Saturday
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Yuma City Councilman Raul Mendoza will be available to talk about city government with the public on Saturday during another in his series of monthly coffees with the public.
The Saturday Coffee with Councilman Mendoza is set for 9 to 11 a.m. at the Coffee Bean, 2450 S. 4th Ave.
Residents who attend the no-host sessions can raise any concerns or questions about city issues of interest to them, such as streets, traffic, public safety, development and public parks.
Mendoza holds the sessions the third Saturday of each month to give the public to the chance to say what's on their minds.
In the October session, participants discusses such issued as street conditions on the west side of the city, development encroachment on Marine Corps Air Station Yuma and property rights.
After Saturday, the next sessions are Dec. 19, Jan. 16 and Feb. 20.
Unless otherwise noted, the sessions take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Coffee Bean. No appointments are necessary to attend.
