Businesses asked to answer online media survey
The Yuma Sun is hosting a survey to help determine where Yuma businesses rank themselves in the use of digital media.
The information will help determine the training to be provided during an upcoming digital media expo to be offered by the newspaper, said Lisa Reilly, advertising director for the Yuma Sun. The expo is tentatively planned for late May.
“We want people to go online and fill out the survey,” she said. “We need to know what people want so we can provide the training they need.”

People are asked to complete the survey by 5 p.m. Friday and they will be entered into a drawing for one of four $25 gift cards to Starbucks. They're also encouraged to share the survey site with staff members who participate in managing the business' digital marketing or support processes.
Questions in the survey include:
• Background, such as business owner, manager or marketing manager
• How would you rank your business in use of digital technology?
• Who manages your website, digital marketing and social media?
• Do you have an email database?
• Do you allow your employees to access social media sites while at work?
“Your input is important,” concluded Reilly.
