Shot clinic Friday

It's that time of year again for Yuma County residents who need immunizations.

The Regional Center for Border Health will sponsor an immunization campaign Friday at the San Luis Walk-In Clinic.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon. There is no charge for immunizations. Families only need to bring their immunization card, according to a news release from the organization.

Immunizations offered include diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, pneumococcal conjugate, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, rotavirus, MMR, chickenpox, tetanus, Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) and Hib, a vaccine to help protect against bacterial meningitis.

The Regional Center for Border Health held a similar event Wednesday.

For more information, call the center at 627-9222.
