Free lecture on arthritis therapy Thursday

The Yuma Friends of the University of Arizona are hosting a free lecture about current therapy and treatment available to those who suffer from arthritis.
The lecture will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Yuma Regional Corporate Center, 399 West 32nd Street.
The presentation will be made by Dr. John Szivek, Ph.D, of The University of Arizona Arthritis Center. Szivek has served as director of orthopedic research at the university since 1990, and mentors both undergraduate and graduate students. In 2003, he was awarded the William and Sylvia Rubin Chair of Orthopedic Research.
