Intersection near desalting plant to be closed to install water line

    Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The intersection of Calle Agua Salada and Levee Road, just west of the Yuma Desalting Plant, will be closed for water line installation under the protection levee, the Bureau of Reclamation said.

The work is scheduled to begin Monday and be complete by the week's end.

Motorists wishing to travel to the north Cocopah Reservation should approach from the east by turning left from Strand Avenue.

Traffic delays may occur near the construction site from heavy equipment operations. Motorists are urged to take caution and watch out for moving equipment vehicles.
