YPD searching for suspects involved in Saturday shooting

The Yuma Police Department is searching for those involved in an early Saturday morning shooting. The incident happened in the parking lot of 3780 S. 4th Ave. No injuries were reported.

According to YPD, officers responded to the scene at about 2 a.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance. Once on site, police learned an altercation in the parking lot led to multiple shots being fired. Police do not believe the shots hit anyone, but instead struck the ground.

YPD has not released any information about those who were involved, what led to the fight, or what weapon or weapons were used, stating the investigation is ongoing.
