A search warrant for a single sex offender led authorities to a local apartment where four people were arrested Friday for alleged on-going sex abuse involving a 15-year-old child. The child was safely returned to her parents Friday, according to a press statement issued by the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.

The statement did not state if the child was known to the suspects or being held against her will. The spokesman for the sheriff's office was not immediately available for comment.

The arrests took place at Regency Square Apartments, 2350 S. Avenue. B.

Authorities were originally on the trail of Jonathan Robert Jensen, 26, who is wanted on a felony arrest warrant for a sex offense in San Diego County. Jensen has now been charged with child molestation stemming from the Yuma case.

Also arrested were:

- Hoyt Edward Crane, 24, 2350 S. Avenue. B, Yuma, charged with one count of sexual contact with a minor.

- Donald Lee Finch, 19, 1151 E. 23rd Place, Yuma, charged with eight counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

- Nicole Rosalie Lahr, 26, no fixed address, five counts of sexual conduct with a minor, plus three warrants from Texas and Arizona for evading arrest and probation violation.

In another incident at the apartment Kevin Root, 21, 1151 E. 23rd Place, Yuma, was cited and released for possession of marijuana.
