See Yuma's holiday lights with YCAT tour
Yuma residents and visitors can enjoy the best holiday lights in town with the new YCAT Holiday GOAround tour.
Offered by Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority, the new tour will operate on the weekend of Dec. 21-23. The 1-1/2-hour tour will kick off at the Downtown Yuma Transit Center at 7:30 p.m.
Riders will be treated to on-board holiday music and hot beverages.
The fare is $2 one way for adults and $1 for students, seniors, persons with disabilities and Medicare card holders. Regular one-day, 10-ride and 31-day passes will be accepted on the tour.
Free parking is available at the parking lot across the street from the Transit Center, 200 Gila St. (corner of 3rd and Gila streets) at the historic Hotel Del Sol building.
YCAT also will provide free shuttle service in downtown Yuma for those wishing to visit Christmas Village at the Quartermaster Depot from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and again on Dec. 20-22.
The shuttle will be stopping at the Downtown Yuma Transit Center, Maiden Lane behind Lutes Casino, Madison Avenue behind Da Boyz, 1st Street across from Circle K and at the Quartermaster Depot.
