Love affair with coffee has its perks
It’s always embarrassing when a new co-worker sits near the coffee pot.
I’m pretty sure they’re keeping close track of my trips to the heavenly nectar dispenser — and they’re shocked. I’m not usually proud of my addictions, so let’s call my relationship with coffee a love affair, one that’s even grown since my first days relying on its liquid alertness back in college.
Why am I thinking of coffee this morning? It’s because I’m having a time thinking of what to write about, but there’s one thing I know for sure. This morning has surely grown sweeter since the first sip from the coffee mug next to my keyboard.
This coffee came from my curious-looking little brewing contraption I brought home from Costa Rica, which is truly a holy land for coffee fiends. There, drinking coffee is like ordering up a shot of tequila in Mexico. No one judges ... and no one’s counting.
