Time for another tribute from Canada?
Forty years ago, a popular announcer, Gordon Sinclair of CFBR Ontario Radio, wrote a stunning editorial, "Dammed Tired of Seeing the Americans Kicked Around."
Americans were so touched and flattered that two million recitations of Mr. Sinclair’s commentary were sold the first month.
In 40 years, isn’t there one or two or three Canadian citizens who can speak up, or write up another tribute to our proud, generous, freedom-loving country called America?
Go online, print out "The Americans" by Gordon Sinclair. Read it over and over several times and then update Gordon Sinclair’s point: "It’s about time some self-righteous Canadians stood up and complimented America."
Remember, "If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all," as our mothers used to say.
