Lack of testimony seems convenient

Well, after stating in my last letter to the editor that it would be my last, I was wrong. After receiving several postings, calls, comments and even letters of support, I've decided it's time to write again.

First of all, I'd like to set the record straight on a couple of matters. I am not a racist, I am not a bigot, I do support the office of the presidency and I do not dislike Barack Obama the person. I do, however, have major problems with Barack Obama the president. I'm sure he is a great husband and good father, but he is a very poor businessman, leader, commander-in-chief and president.

I guess my problem is not with Barack Obama – no, he is not the danger to America. The danger to America is the voters who put Obama into office and entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It is going to be much easier to undo the damage he has done to America than it will be to restore common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to allow such a man to become president.

Now to my main issue.

First we have a top woman on the Obama team, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, withdraw her name from consideration to become the next Secretary of State. I'm sure you remember Susan Rice – she was the top-level official to appear on five Sunday morning news programs and repeat the “talking points” on what exactly happened the day four brave Americans were killed in Benghazi. They were the “talking points” of the Obama administration and “talking points” that have since been proven to be false.

Now the current Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, will not be able to testify before House and Senate panels on the Benghazi issue due to a concussion. Secretary Clinton was scheduled to testify on the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in which U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stephens and three other Americans were killed but the State Department has announced that Clinton is suffering from a stomach virus, she fainted and she hit her head, which caused the concussion. However, the agency did not say when the incident occurred.

With the truth not being told by Susan Rice or Hillary Clinton, one has to wonder when or even if America will ever know the true story behind what happened in Benghazi? What is the Obama administration trying to hide? What did Obama know and when did he know it?

One way to find out is for Congress to issue a subpoena and demand the president come clean to America, especially the families of the four brave Americans whose blood the president has on his hands.
