YCAT has many advantages for riders

I am responding, albeit a little late, to Claire DeTorres' letter of Feb. 17th. Whoo! For someone who hasn't ridden the bus, she has some pretty harsh opinions. I have been riding YCAT since 2002. I have seen many changes, owners, and different stops. Yes, people DO ride the bus. I am rarely on the bus by myself. Those buses, more often than not, are the ones funded by the Quechans or Cocopahs. I do not have a car – the YCAT is my only regular transportation. I ride with a lot of people I see everyday who are in the same financial boat as me. YCAT is affordable, safe and GREAT for the environment. Claire, ride it, then spout off.
