Plea for no vote on arena

We would like to ask the voters of the city of Yuma to help us out. You see, we live outside the city and cannot vote against this white elephant, yet we will all be held responsible for the cost of this events center.
 
How many events? At what cost will it take to sustain the operation of, let alone the cost of, such a facility? Do we think that kids and/or their parents can afford this along with all the other costs associated with raising and educating our youth.
 
In our opinion, children are to be provided what they need, not provide everything they want. Children are given too much!
