National Newspaper Week is 365 days a year

We're celebrating National Newspaper Week. Despite all the doom and gloom predictions, newspapers are not dying. Community newspapers are thriving, in fact.

Why? Because no one else, and no other media, has the reporting staff that writes the stories of the community. Government, business, industry, schools, real estate, sports, personalities, religion, entertainment and much more — every day, you can count on your newspaper to deliver the news, much of it locally generated, written by and for Yumans in Yuma County. And people who live here want to know about their communities and what's going on.

We are proud to have written Yuma County's history for more than 125 years. You may read the news online, or you may read us the “old-fashioned” way in print — one way or another, the Yuma Sun is touching the lives of more than 101,000 readers each day. We thank you for the opportunity to tell your stories, every day, 365 days a year.
