Arizona needs Daylight Saving Time

It is time for Arizona to get with the vast majority of other states and go along with Daylight Saving Time. To not do so further perpetuates the image Arizona suffers from of failure to adjust to the rest of the world.

It is very confusing to have the state NOT go along, and almost everyone has had the experience of a missed appointment one place or another because of this. The Navajo Nation understood this and went along with most all the U.S.A. and much of the world.

In our home, Alaska, we went with Daylight Saving Time, even though we have virtually 24-hour daylight in the summer, and absolutely no need to go along with it.

It was felt to not do so was just too confusing to both the residents and our many tourists. Winter or summer, you know we are one hour earlier than the Pacific Coast.

Its time Arizona got with the rest of the country. This goes for those isolated places, parts of states that also fail to get with it!
