Mechanical problem a 'blessing in disguise'
Comments 0 | Recommend 0My 1991 Harley-Davidson, with nearly a 100,000 miles on it, blew a piston on I-8 outside Yuma in October. Everything happens for a higher purpose and I discovered it was a "blessing in disguise."
The Yuma community should be so thankful for the people who live, work and inspire others here. There are indeed "angels in training" or "angels in disguise" here that I encountered while driving through Yuma on my Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
These include Dottie, Ashley, John, Juanita and Paul at the Holiday Inn.
Also, Bobby, Marty and Steve at Bobby's Territorial Harley-Davidson. Bobby is the only dealer, to my knowledge, that out of hundreds of dealerships, works on Harley-Davidson's.
Also Dr. Mohammad Zargarian, Megan, Rochelle and George at Yuma Regional Medical Center. All of you took care of me Oct. 20-22, and again on Nov. 5-6.
Also Jeff Drabent and Don Sizemore at the Yuma Police Department.
On Oct. 19 and Nov. 9, Christ Lutheran Church delivered spirit-filled services.
So many of the people here are exceptionally friendly, professional and always ready to go above and beyond the call of duty. As individuals and as a community, you are "spiritually inspired and divinely guided."
These words are so real - God speaks to us through others; God speaks to others through us.
