Democrats dominated in Bush's last 2 years

No one seems to remember that President Bush's last two years were dominated by a very liberal Democrat Congress — both House and Senate.
Did they have nothing to do with how things turned out during those final two years that the current administration complains about?
President Obama was a member of that Congress so what he blames Bush for was partly due to him and that Congress.
