Wisdom 'from the mouths of babes'

They say great wisdom can come “from the mouths of babes,” but I never expected it to happen in a Walmart parking lot.

Have you heard about the handwritten “rule book” found recently in Northern California? It's been making lots of headlines. A store employee says he just stumbled across the little book, which is filled with more than 150 pearls of wisdom – kiddy scrawl, misspellings and all.

That Walmart employee is now turning to social media to help track down the author of this amusing missive.

There are funny entries:

* Don't bite the dentist

* Don't color on people

* Recicle

And things it wouldn't hurt adults to remember:

* Tie your shoes or you will fall

* Don't get in other people's business

* Don't leave your friends behind

Sadly, it's the final rule that the poor kiddo seems to really have blown:
