Goal was to delay until after Nov. 6

Greg Gardner in his Dec. 20 letter to the editor asked the question "What is the Obama administration trying to hide (about the Benghazi attack)?" There is an easy answer.

The Latinos, food stampers and extended unemployment recipients, as well as GM employees’ votes, were being bought with borrowed money. Dave Axelrod knew the margin was too small for comfort, and there were enough votes among the above mentioned groups that valued integrity over greed to change their minds if they knew the truth of the Benghazi debacle.

The sometimes laughable lies, explanations and distortions were concocted to delay full knowledge till after Nov. 6.
