Hats off to the Caballeros, Rotarians and all the other movers and shakers of Yuma for providing fun venues almost every weekend.
As winter visitors, we enjoy each and every event we attend. The food and the art are well worth the time to travel downtown and spend some time and money. We are quite happy to find the high level of talent in our winter home. The jazz scene at the Palms is first rate. Those dancing kids at the Mardi Gras were simply great. One little girl kept up her routine after the music sputtered out. A real trooper! The belly dancers always warm my heart.
I hope the Scorpions will be back in action soon. I have never seen a senior citizen move so fast after a foul ball. Guess it must be the free beer for returning it. We will just be happy watching the Matadors for now. Thanks again to all who provide such a fun environment in our adopted town.
