So-called 'facts' not really facts

I am disgusted by The Associated Press article titled "Truth stretched at GOP campaign" in The Sun on Friday. It attacks Gov. Sarah Palin's speech with "facts." If you closely read what are called facts, it is clear that these should be called "Democrat rebuttals/opinions."

The Tax Policy Center gave an opinion what the economic plans would do to the nation. I am sure that other economists would have different opinions as to what the plans would do. Please don't label this a fact.

The other "facts" that should be labeled as opinions are written as if they came directly from the Democratic National Committee in the form of a rebuttal. An article such as this should be run on the Opinion page, not with the news, if at all, and label it as to the source.

If it is a DNC rebuttal, label it as such. If it is the opinion of the AP, well, we can tell who they are being a mouthpiece for, and the article should not have been printed.

The same goes for the GOP if someone wrote an opinion article that masqueraded as fact.
