Moving away from libertarian principles
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Yuma Sun's editor Terry Ross continues his move away from libertarianism to Obama dictatorship, particularly through government control of all of our medical needs.
Ironically, the newspaper that editorializes for national health care also prints advertisements urging readers to throw away their money in gambling casinos.
Of course advertising revenue is important for a news organ's survival. But casino ads could be accompanied by a public service announcement:
"Warning! Gambling could be hazardous to your economic well-being. It is advisable to keep a budget giving priority to private health care insurance premiums and other necessities. Any money left over can be used for such nonessential luxuries as gambling."
But that might encourage people to adopt the libertarian principle of self-reliance, instead of irresponsibly spending themselves into poverty where they can easily be enslaved by the Obama/Ross dictatorship.
