Concert here was incredible

I had the opportunity to attend the United States Air Force Band with the Singing Sergeants from Washington, D.C., who performed at Gila Ridge High School.

What an incredible experience that was! For a few hours of pure musical bliss, my family and I sat frozen as we listened to some of the finest instrumental and voice talent made in the USA — all for free. It was a mixture of classical and operatic pieces tastefully performed, but with style and a touch of humor that, at times, had the audience laughing.

A concert of this caliber in San Francisco or New York would have easily cost $75 or more.

Thank you Col. L. Lang (conductor), and all members of the band, for being willing to come to Yuma. And thank you to anyone involved in getting them here. It was heartily enjoyed!
