No inflation, then no Medicare hikes
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Seniors have all heard that there will be no cost of living adjustment this year because our government says there is no inflation. Do they really expect us to believe that line of bull?
Our government printed billions of dollars and bailed out the auto industry, insurance companies, brokerage firms and banks. AIG got the bulk of the insurance industry money because they manage our politicians' retirement money.
The insurance companies, after getting bailed out, are now raising seniors' monthly drug plan payments from $22.50 to $31.10 in Arizona. That amounts to a 38 percent increase.
Stay tuned, as the government has not told us yet how much more than $96.40 a month our Medicare is going to cost. How about nothing since there is no inflation.
