Conservative media also influential

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is suffering in the political polls lately, although that can easily change.

But let me be the first to make a prediction about what would occur in the aftermath of the election if Romney were to lose.

Conservatives will rush to blame the “liberal mainstream media.” You know, media like the liberal Fox News. Maybe it will be all the liberal radio talk shows that dominate the airwaves — you know, like the liberal Rush Limbaugh. Or maybe it is the liberal Wall Street Journal.

Perhaps in the past there was a dominant “liberal” media in the United States — although even that is doubtful — but I don't see how anyone can possibly make that claim today.

There are more active, influential conservative voices in the media today than ever before. They have just as much power to influence as the so-called liberal media.
